The beach with a German

My cousin was visiting from Germany.  I had to go to the beach to photograph a family so I thought I could take my cousin and my family along.  My husband loves going to the beach with me to help because he knows we will go out to dinner after, his choice!  Sienna loves to play in the sand and get wet.  I wanted Jurgen (my cousin) to see the beach before he went home.  I got a big kick out of the fact that Jurgen kept his shoes on most of the time!  Crazy Germans!  Germans don't usually like to eat with their hands either so of coarse Jay chose Rockin' Baja Lobster for dinner where you get a big bucket of shrimp, lobster, crab, all to be eaten with your hands.  A wonderful buttery mess!  We had a great time together.

A day in the life of Lexi

I had so much fun going to Allison and Danny's house to photograph them with their sweet little Lexi.  She just turned one and I thought it would be a good time to try and capture her in her element.  Now when she comes in my studio for pictures she usually decides she is not going to sit and smile for anything I have in mind for her.  She's smarter than that!  I was thrilled when we put her in her crib for a few shots and she just started beeming!  She loves to jump up and down.

I want to try and be a blogger!  I have no idea if I will be able to find the time to post things as often as I would like, but I will give it my best!
